I like how Persona 4 was announced as a few scans in Famitsu, and then the next thing you know the web is exploding with video and pictures. I wish more games I had a hard on for were smeared all over the internet in this way, because there is something pretty exciting about having new info fed to you on what seems like a daily basis. I'm loving every minute of it.

There are three new character videos, including the one you see above and two more behind the jump. The thing that makes me most excited about these trailers is that essence of Japanese life -- whereas JRPGs may have certain identifying factors, few make me feel like I am actually in real life Japan. Persona 3 did just that, and I loved it, so I'm hoping for more of the same from Persona 4.

Someone needs to post the FATLUS comic where the guy is saying "I FEEL LIKE I'M REALLY JAPANESE!" and they need to post it stat.


I have to say, I like these characters more and more as I see them in motion. They aren't as instantly likeable as the P3 characters were, but they still have that certain charm, and I'm growing used to seeing them already. The "new Junpei" looks like a fun character, definitely.

Everyday Atlus is giving us either new news or new videos of stuff that is comming out. Atlus is by far my favorite publisher, and they seem to have come to terms with their fans on the non-Asia side of the world. It makes me happy to see some of the best games I've played comming from a company that really seems to care about its fans.

Atlus = da best!!

Plus, they have Vampire Nazis in a game!

After playing jeanne d'arc i loved atlus, then i read that you loved persona 3. I went to every game stoe within 30 miles and couldnt find a copy, so i got it on gamefly and am enjoying the hell out of it! Can't wait for p4
