Over the next few months, Electronic Arts is touring the United States with Criterion's upcoming racer, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. First stop? New York City!
Oh, by the way -- you might have missed it. It happened already. But the good news is that there's video, courtesy of EA. It features a bunch of people standing in line and checking their cell phones, before getting their hands on the game... and going absolutely bats**t over it. Doesn't matter if you're a NYC local, a hip-hop superstar, or DJ Z-Trip... Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is the best thing ever.
No really, it's actually pretty good. I played it at E3. It's out this November, and I'm looking forward to playing it and going bats**t in my living room.

If it was up to me and I had the cash my living room wall would be stacked with games the day they come out. But my budget won't allow it. Certain games give me the "omfg I needs its!!!" feeling and some give me the "Looks pretty sick but I can wait" feeling and NFS: Hot Pursuit gives me the latter. So I will wait till a price drop before I play it or I'll rent it if I get the itch sooner then later ;-)
Ive started renting a lot these days (perk of the job) and I find thats the best way to try them out. But this? I must have this....
