People like $4 games; Burger King trio are massive success photo

It should come as a shock to no one that Burger King's recent foray into console gaming was a huge success. The three titles (Sneak King, Pocketbike Racer and Big Bumpin') combined for 3.2 million in sales, and according to an article at the Hollywood Reporter, this may be the only type of video-game-based advertising that actually works.

We've spoken out against in-game ads before, and we stand firm in our resolute hatred of fliers for Subway restaurants showing up in Halo, but if a company wants to offer people competent, fun games for $4 a piece, that just happen to tie into their product somehow, we will accept them with open arms.

Unless that company is Vagisil.

(Editor's Note: I realize that I've used that picture before, but if there is one thing that the Internet has taught me, it's that nothing is funnier than pictures of cats with words added to anthropomorphize them. -- Nex)

It's interesting that no one gives the much-more powerful cell based ps3 props for NOT supporting food that advertises toxicity to children, and rewards young gamers with obesity and death. It goes without saying that if the cell processor was behind these games, many more children and adults would suffer from heart attacks and liver failure, as the cell is the most powerful consumer processor available. Then again, MS fans are a cult of death, powered by a weak processor. Enjoy those first person shooters and those chicken tenders.

lol @ milly

At least MS can deliver a cell processor that doesn't screw over developers.

Your move.

well, canni, since when has a 'developer' ever loaned you five bucks, or given you a ride when your vw van broke down in the countryside and the only people around were an inbred clan of angelicans? because, that's, what, the, cell, can, do, for, you. as well as light your cigarettes.

anywho, check this out mr cannicorpse,

music fans for the most part deplore music companies, movie fans for the most part deplore movie companies; why are video game enthusiasts so in-love with their 'developers' and 'game companies' to the extent that they sell their loyalty just "because"?

this burger king thing makes me feel ashamed as a 'gamer'. i 'get' that there is a reflex gag because sony has been successful and it makes sense because as morrissey said we hate when our friends become successful, but still, but STILL.

microsoft? microsoft?
the same company whose evil grew so sauron-like that tim robbins was able to find studio backing to make a thriller with him playing an evil, crazed, bill gates?

Ok milly?
Chill the fuck out.

Get some orange slices and sit in the corner until you reach a level of sobriety that doesn't make you look like a dumbass.

Furthermore, microsoft ftw, Halo3 bitches!

The editors could write up any kind of story and Milly would find some way to talk about the ps3 and its cell processor. The Cell processor is like a retard, powerful but hard to control. You can brag about the the ps3 when it stops losing all of its exclusives and has put together a semi decent library. I'm glad you are passionate about something and I hope I love my PS3 if I ever decide its worth buying but seriously dude, you are a broken record.

Sony is way more evil than microsoft. For one they created the betamax and mini disc and second Howard Stringer and Kaz Hirai and has never gone on record condemning Nazi Germany's actions in WW2, probably because they were too busy eating babies.

arrested developer, I'm gonna lay you down. Treat you right. To an all-night steak buffet. We're gonna play Last Battle until the break of dawn.

When you cough, I'll be there to wipe your face with a frilly hankie.

But we're not done,

I'll escort you home,
I'll take up you up to your flat,
Once we're there you'll put Al Greene on the stereo
And I'll fix you some clams
And when you throw up, I'll be there, holding your head up,

And I'll look you in your mascara tinged faux sunny day real estate eyes, and I'll say

We're not done yet

You'll be my psp

Limey hint #1 Use of a hankie
Limey hint #2 Said flat instead of apartment
Limey hint #3 Played Al Greene instead of Marvin Gaye
Limey hint #4 You spelled and used faux correctly
Limey hint #5 Playing Last Battle (Streets of Rage FTW)
