Peggle, Sonic 2, and more getting XBLA discounts photo

In the past, a good percentage of Xbox LIVE's so-called deals have been pretty crummy. But for the rest of this month, the Deal of the Week promos are surprisingly good. Don't believe it? Keep on reading, good sir.

Easily the weakest of the bunch is Fable II's "See the Future" add-on, which of course is the first deal. Thanks for trying to make me look bad for trying to make you look good, guys! Brad wasn't fond of the DLC, but if you think you might be, it's going down to 400 MS Points on November 23.

Next up is Peggle for 400 Points and Death Tank for 800 Points -- both sales are happening during the week of the 23rd as well. And finally, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 closes this month off on November 30 for the low, low price of 240 Points. Now that's more like it.

Since it seemed like no one played Death Tank around the time of release, allow me to recommend that game. It's like a real-time Scorched Earth, and fans of Worms will want to check it out for sure.

Damn, I bought sonic 2 a few weeks ago :(, oh well not like 400 is a lot to begin with anyway!

5 dollars is the cheapest price I've seen for crack cocaine ANYWHERE.

Hmm... Death Tank still seems a bit high at $10, especially since Worms 2 is the same price. Then again, I've never played Death Tank, so maybe I'm talking out of my ass.

Jordan, you seem to like it. Is it better than Worms 2, or just different?

Already got Peggle on PC, and got Sonic 2 on the original Mega Drive.
Plus I have Worms 2, so no need for Death Tank.

Which sucks, cause I hate it when awesome sales happen and they're totally useless to me.

800 points should have been the original price for Death Tank. Was it 1200 or 1600? Either way, friggin' absurd. This game reminded me of Gorilla for QBasic, so at least it's got that goin' for it.

I'll have to pick up the Sonic game, I can't resist a game that cheap. Even though I already have the Ultimate Genesis Collection. Hmm...maybe not.

@Char Aznable Yeah Death Tank was 1200 points. And personally, I think 800 is still too much for that game. And I got Sonic 2 for about $0.50 (with Ultimate Genesis Collection).

$5 Peggle is tempting but whatever the price will be on PSN will probably be even more tempting given that I can spread that purchase out to 4 other consoles.

I refuse to but Peggle again. I have it on the PC, DS, and iPod Touch. Oh wait, what's that? You can play online? Goddamnit.
