Peggle Xbox LIVE Arcade DLC is a thing that is happening this fall.
This morning, PopCap Games announced the existence of Peggle Nights, an expansion for the lauded -- we liked it, at least -- XBLA release. The content adds sixty levels and challenges to the core game, as well as a new Peggle master, three new Achievements and a Trophy room (whatever that is).
The official release makes it clear that fans planning to buy Peggle Nights will receive all of the content PC and Macintosh owners have been enojying for many moons now. The frills of the XBLA release (multiplayer, stats, and leaderboard support) will be added to the expansion, so don't panic.
In addition to all of this, new style shots have been announced. They will be added to Peggle as a free title upgrade after purchasing Peggle Nights.
The price of the expansion has yet to be decided.

Garth Chateau, PR for Popcap, has stated that it's not technically an expansion. That is, the GAME itself: this XBLA release IS an expansion, technically.
Semantics aside, it IS a full new Peggle game regardless, and can be considered a full sequel. It's sold separately as a boxed release on PC.
I think labeling this game as an expansion on the XBLA front is a mistake, considering it will turn off people like MC from purchasing the game. It really undersells the amount of content you get.

But what I'm saying is essentially, this is Peggle Nights PC, which is a full game's worth of content.
As mentioned, the improper wording "expansion", is really underselling this.
