PC Puzzle Quest: Galactrix demo may help to sate your addiction
If you harbored even a fraction of the addiction I did for thr original Puzzle Quest, odds are that you played the hell of the flash demo that was recently released (and yes, I am quite aware it is only one level, I replayed it a ridiculous amount of times is the thing). As if you weren't distracted enough being able to play a round at anytime, this morning Big Download sent over the full PC demo this morning, which allows you to do a lot more than just fight the same battle over and over. The limitations are that you cannot pass level 5 or save your hero, but let's face it, there sounds like there's plenty enough there to make you ignore work for hours. Not that I advocate that, of course (do it NOW).

Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)the fight took waaaaaay too long. I liked the end of puzzle quest, once you've figured out how to do damage other than skulls. The first part was just painful. Thank god they're actually doing a PC release. The original game's demo did a massive cocktease with the combination of mouse control and vast screen real estate, and right after finishing I read the press release that said "Surprise! we're not making it for PC after all!" And then I had to deal with the DS' cramped interface or the 360's dpad controls.

6:00 PM on 05.07.2013 Jack the Reaper feels like a long-lost SNES plaftormerIt's one thing to look like a Super Nintendo title, but Jack the Reaper from Dream's Bell checks all of the right boxes: style, sound, gameplay, and even the opening cinematic feel like the mid-'90s in concentrated form. This...
4:30 PM on 05.03.2013 Fuse demo drops next week with split-screen supportThe general vibe I'm getting about Fuse is that of disappointment. The cooperative shooter isn't what people want from Insomniac Games, and although I feel similarly, we should probably wait until we have first-hand expe...
