Just when I thought that I wanted Left 4 Dead enough as it was, our dear tipster, Joe Burling, dropped an atomic bomb in my lap -- in the form of a 10 minute video podcast from PC Gamer. For the non-laggy version you can get the full video here. Although about 50% of the video is just footage of some guys playing the game (which frustrated the hell out of the Reverend and I), we think the other half more than makes up for it. If you haven't heard about this game yet, let me catch you up in a refresher course.
One of the things that set this game apart from the competition is talk about how there are supposedly no triggers in the game at all. It has a "director" which evaluates the situation and decides when and where to release zombies. Thanks to this little detail, you can play the same level 100 times and never have the same experience. It also has four player story co-op and the multiplayer portion will let you choose between a human or group of zombies.
