I hope you've been pacing yourself, because there are a number of solid discounts on PC games to be had in this month that never ends. On Amazon, Square Enix is up today with Just Cause 2 ($2.49), Dungeon Siege 3 ($4.99), Tomb Raider: Underworld ($3.99), and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light ($2.49).
Even if you've never been into the adventures of Croft before, do look into grabbing that last one. Moving onto Steam, there are some great daily deals:
Well, see y'all later! I've got to go earn more useless coupons.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
The single player doesn't have much replay, but you will get 8-10 hours of awesome. The guns feel so satisfying when slicing things to bits.
The multiplayer is garbage, don't even try it. It's unbalanced and laggy.
I
It's not that i REGRET buying Dead Space 2 or Fallout: New Vegas for full price, but when they're five bucks barely a year later...
I'd buy it if it was $5, but that's not what steam page showed me D:
I see it as $5.
BUY IT NOW!!!!
Check right above the commetns section here and there will be four stories with misleading thumbnails leading to third-rate aggregation sites on old non-stories. Usually has things like "The Wolverine game they didn't want you to play!" leads to a flash game or "Can CoD Beat This One?" is just a photo of a tattooed young women's thighs.
Here Dead Space 2 is listing as 15 dollars and Dead Space 1 as $7,50.
If it was $5 dollars each, I would probably have bought both.
(Or someone can buy it and trade with me for L4D2 =) )
This enrages me cause I barely have any time to play...im only 45 hours into skyrim let alone start anything else...My backlog is starting to haunt my dreams with individual games screaming PLAY ME! NO PLAY ME! WHY WONT YOU PLAY ME?
After acquiring a certain number of games in a disproportionate amount of time, Steam libraries tend to become incorporeal sentients that will invade your subconscious and spontaneously lash out at you through your own inner voice to punish you for your irrational spending and general negligence towards an already absurdly overdeveloped collection of games.
Welcome to Steam.
Oh yeah, I gotta go buy some games at the GoG 50% off sale. My backlog over there isn't big enough yet!
x_x
I started on the GOG sale pretty early. I got 20 games for right at $80 - on top of the dozen or so that I already owned. My lovely little virtual shelf is bordering ridiculous at this point. Sadly, I know I'll never play all of this stuff.
Too bad so few older games support widescreen :(
