This is the kind of thing I like to wake up to. Ronimo Games has announced that it is bringing its multiplayer online battle arena game Awesomenauts to Steam "within a month," followed by a Mac release. The first media for these versions shows the new HUD and the game's two new characters in action.
A closed beta will be happening very soon, so if that's something you're down for, watch the studio's Facebook page. They're feeling ambitious: "We plan to support all versions of Awesomenauts with updates and new content in the future! Starting with the console patch, which will go live very soon!"
Despite how well it works as a console game, I have a feeling it'll be just as enjoyable on PC and Mac.
Despite not playing as much Guild Wars 2 as I'd like to, that's okay -- it's not costing me anything. I can continue not playing free of guilt, which is the only way I can do MMO gaming any more, I've realized. ArenaNet has k...

Notion Games, an indie developer for the upcoming Super Ubi Land ran into a pretty big roadblock recently -- you know, because of that other developer and mega-publisher that has the phrase "Ubi" in it. Yep, that's right, Ubi...
Don’t let the screenshots fool you: This isn’t the game you think it is. The first Anomaly was an unexpected sleeper hit that found a successful formula on flipping tower defense on its head by putting the playe...

It seems as if Valve has rolled out a new gamerscore-esque ratings system overnight, as many Steam users woke up to find "levels" next to their profiles. Evidently the update lets players earn XP, as they earn badges for comm...
