Being a Beta goer since before last winter, the game seriously has only improved since the early days were it was barely a passable alpha. Its been a very enjoyable experience so far.
Great to see yet another new pro and there'll be more as the game goes on.
They have been unfortunately. Though they heard our call and arena maps are in the pipeline (probably one or two more before launch). Right now it's the jungle ruin like Loco Moco, The industrial canyon Bullet Gorge, and the middle of the city Spunky Downtown.
Last I played it took forever to destroy the bots, seriously ridiculously long. Even Dota didn't take me as long.
While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it isn't nearly as fun as the original in my book.
@JayCee Mickey Cantor will no longer be the announcer, Uber couldn't come to terms with the voice actor so the decision was made to go there separate ways.
I guess you can bypass Microsoft's stupid patch limitations if you make enough money.
You mean too bad M$ is so hellbent against anything Free..... even if it's likely to generate a good volume of microtransactions.
Uncertain about how the patches for the Minecraft port are working out but All of Minecraft for the PC is about 3.8(so lets say 4)MB
For comparison the texture pack I use with Minecraft is ~17MB so the texture pack alone is roughly 4.25x the size of the actual game. Even if the port to XboX significantly increases Minecrafts footprint, its probably going to end up at most being around the 100MB size and will likely have patches as massive as 4-5MB.
Where as SMNC probably easily clocks in at the GB range starting out and would be pushing 400-700+MB patches.
I'm not arguing that M$ shouldn't take up SMNC as a F2P game just that comparing it to MC and calling foul isn't exactly fair based on the resource consumption alone.
