Watching these videos is bringing back nervous habits I thought I got over a long time ago.

Why do people compare him to Jack Thompson? Jack Thompson wants to bring down the entire gaming industry. Uwe Boll just makes shitty video game movies.

Saying I'm not a fan of his movies would be an understatement, but he did have a lot of balls to go out there in front of a room of people who hate his guts. Hell, that's more than you can say for that pussy Jack Thompson.

The ONLY thing I can respect this man for ANYTHING is his ability to find PR. He's a businessman who made shit to cause an uproar, gained some status (whether it was popular or unpopular), knew some idiots would like his movies, and continues to show how "ballsy" he can act. But still, it's not like all those nerds were going to jump up there and beat him to death (though I'm sure they were thinking that). This "move" he made was most likely purely for PR.
So, that's all I can say about him. He's a tool who knows how to gain PR and popularity by pissing people off, using loop holes to get rich, and rinse/repeating the steps he's taken so far.

Still, he doesn't give a damn about his fans and would backstab the next person near him just to continue higher into the ranks of fame. His current tactics is to become a "norm" in the gaming society so people will mind him less, thus buying more tickets and more DVDs.

He's a tool who creates tools (fans). Ironic.

I'll give him this much, Boll has BALLS OF STEEL to go onstage at PAX. That's like Michael Vick attending a PETA gathering.

The guy has a nerve to appear somewhere like that, I wouldn't say that he is particularly ballsy to do so. He seems to be completely ignorant as to why he receives the negative reaction he does, thankfully he has not got his filthy mitts on any franchises I care about.
