Moments ago we got word from this man about some video he shot at this last weekend's PAX 2007. Even amongst people who attended the event, the presence of Herr Boll was the sort of whispered rumor that would pass from person to person as if they were speaking of a Jabberwocky in their midst. While the German auteur has yet to rend anyone limb from limb, his work has left psychological scars Lewis Carroll could only dream of -- in between moments of touching little girls.

I have to say, with as much vitriol as the audience threw at the guy, he earned a whole new level of respect, at least from me. To have the balls to enter a room where you're functionally public enemy number one and not try to punch children in the head ... well that's more self-control than I will ever have.

Everything. It was a joke. Everything this man touches is a joke. His movies, his opinions. Everything. I just don't know anymore.
Saying I'm not a fan of his movies would be an understatement, but he did have a lot of balls to go out there in front of a room of people who hate his guts. Hell, that's more than you can say for that pussy Jack Thompson.
Yeah, his movies suck, but dude's still pretty ballsy for going up there against short shorts, tucked in t-shirts, glasses, and new balance jogging sneakers.
So, that's all I can say about him. He's a tool who knows how to gain PR and popularity by pissing people off, using loop holes to get rich, and rinse/repeating the steps he's taken so far.
Still, he doesn't give a damn about his fans and would backstab the next person near him just to continue higher into the ranks of fame. His current tactics is to become a "norm" in the gaming society so people will mind him less, thus buying more tickets and more DVDs.
He's a tool who creates tools (fans). Ironic.
Forgive me, but aren't you misusing the word, "tool." Which is someone who's being used. A fool? All the thing's you've mentioned about him completely contradict that. So, fail?
Yeah, the guy makes shitty movies. OK. Don't watch his shitty movies. That's what I've done. What's the point of going on about how much you hate him and everything he's done because he's so immoral and evil? I mean, the guy's so dark and sinister, after postal, he's moving on to phase two of his evil plan; world domination.

This movies still suck though.
I am interested in seeing postal- there is the first 5 or 10 minutes of the movie floating on youtube and it IS pretty funny, and let's face it you can't ruin postal- for god's sakes in the game you throw scissors at gary coleman and piss yourself to put out fires-
I think everyone is too hard on uwe boll- I mean he put out some lame movies- but it's not like he made super mario bros. or street fighter (sadly raul julia's last movie)
