Jim Sterling is always on the move. At different times throughout the day, I spotted him signing autographs, harassing strangers on the phone at the request of fans, and of course, playing videogames. I was lucky enough to bump into him as we were both heading out of the PAX convention center. He obliged my request for assistance in wrapping up the day's events. For that, I am grateful.

Besides giving you an overview of some of the more notable games we played today, this video shows some of the size and scale of PAX as a whole. It also serves a nice snapshot of some of the special folks that you might run into while perusing the show. They aren't like people that you'll meet anywhere else, gaming event or otherwise.

I think Jim said it best when he remarked that "E3 is like a pageant, and PAX is like a circus. At E3, they are all following the same script. At PAX, there is no script, and everyone is completely insane."

OK, I might have made up some of that up, but I'm pretty sure he said most of the rest.

@Hawks: Haha, that's funny! I'd watch that. It would fit right after "The Good Guys"

That's gives me a good idea. Jim should appear on an episode of Sundays With Sagat as Rufus. It could be a Jimquisition/Sundays With Sagat crossover thing. It would be the best thing on DToid since ever.

Please tell me someone else noticed the Lucas cosplayer at 2:20?!?! Everyone should dress like Lucas all the time because that kid is awesome. I also love the way you dealed with that guy Holmes. I didn't hear what he said but the way he looked when you "Yeah that's my wife" was priceless.

Jim should really start not being as close as the camera more. When he's moving around and you can see more than just his face it shows that he's really not that fat. When you get a good look at him it's pretty obvious that Jim's just a big guy but I wouldn't say that he was fat.

@Domii

No one knows what race Holmes is or even if he's human. All we know is that he is the creature known and Holmes and he is awesome.

I love the guy's reaction when Holmes jumps in and shouts, "That's my wife, man!" He momentarily shits bricks.

Any chance we'll get to see this Destructoid Live thing here in internet land? We've been hearing so much about it, it would be a shame for it to disappear.

And what's wrong with Jim in this? He seems almost... happy? Content? I don't know, but it isn't normal. Holmes is this your doing?

Destructoid Live was fully filmed and will be made available in the near future.

As to why I sound happy ... I was still on a high from Dtoid Live itself!

It has to be Duke Forever. How could one not be happy after playing a game that should not exist only to discover not only that it does exist, but that it's also actually good?

Dtoid has some of the best camera work I've ever seen. Not only with the walking, but down escalators and catching "wacky waving inflatable personality straw hat men" in a single take...my god, it's the stuff of champions.

As always, incredible coverage guys and great camera work. That's why I come here: pure, unaltered badassness.
