Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

One of the bad things about PAX is that I'm not there (yes, I will be whining all weekend), but one of the good things about it is companies seem to lay back a bit while they are there. It's not about business like it is at E3, it's just about gaming. Ubisoft has plopped right down in the Lay-Z-Boy armchair that is PAX and gone and memed up Splinter Cell: Conviction. What meme could they possibly use? Take a look at the E3 trailer and try to make a guess before watching the vid.

I'll give you a hint: it has to do with a cat and a piano. I know, still pretty tough to guess, right? Well, I don't like to give things away so easy. So far as I can tell this puts Ubisoft up one in the "contest to put piano playing cats into your game's trailer," but I hear that Activision, after seeing this, isn't far behind.

GOTY if that cutscene makes it in the final cut of the game.

That scene was awesome.

I am an avid Keyboard Cat fan; I own a first edition Three Keyboard Cat Moon shirt. I have the fucking song as my ringtone, for fuck's sake.

I <3 THIS TRAILER

Ubisoft, this totally makes up for not making Beyond Good and Evil 2. For now.

I'm confused. How is that suppose to be funny? I must be missing something. Was the cat person playing the piano suppose to be funny or something?

At this point if you're on the internet and you haven't heard of Keyboard Cat, there's something wrong with you. If anything it's been overused.

This is a pretty funny use of the meme, though.

Keyboard cat is the perfect ringtone. Along with the Stella theme.

This would be funny if they, you know, used a funny meme.
