PAX 09: Ride a mechanical horse of doom at PAX photo

THQ will be at PAX this weekend showing off their upcoming game of doomyness, Darksiders. They will also have a giant Darksiders Mechanical Horse that looks like Ruin, the horse in Darksiders.

The horse was built by Evan Brainard who has a history of working on scary machinery, such as the T-Rex from Jurassic Park and the Terminator in Terminator 2. If you’re brave enough to ride the beast, you’ll get a photo of your experience taken. Plus you’ll have some bragging rights too.

Nick Chester can’t wait to ride the horse, but why just stop there? Hey Mr. Editor-in-Chief, I dare you to play Rock Band while riding the horse. Guitar, drums or singing -- whichever you want. Up to the challenge, boss man?

When I first saw the picture on the left, before seeing the one on the right, the first thing I thought of was 'My Little Pony'. I guess it still technically could be one of My Little 4 Ponies of the Apocalypse.
