PAX 08: ZOMG THE DESTRUCTOID PANEL IS AT 4 PM TODAY - WALRUS THEATER photo

We're nervous and excited as hell -- Destructoid is hosting a panel today at 4pm in the Penny Arcade Expo's Walrus Theater, located just a few feet away from the main hall by the back exit escalators.

The panel is hosted by Nick, Chad, Colette, Dale, and myself and will cover everything from not blogging "sucky" to when its completely appropriate to punch an old woman in the face. As I'm writing this Chad and Colette are literally crying from laughter on the sofa. They're adding some visual aids. You will be inspired and possibly scarred for life.

Destructoid is also showing something new we've been working on, so stop by and we'll make it worth your while. If it ends up sucking, we'll touch you inappropriately to make up for it. Guaranteed! Hope to see you there -- it will be proper fun.

Congrats on the success Niero. I noticed it is so important that you broke the no cussin' on the front page rule. This has to be epic. Live cam would be nice but understood if it's not possible. In the picture, "notice" has been replaced by "GIVE A SHIT" and the "notice" has been striked out as to make it look like the original picture was altered and "GIVE A SHIT" was added afterwards

but if you remove the "GIVE A SHIT" the original would say "How to make the world notice about your blog" which doesn't quite add up

OR maybe i am just thinking to much about these things?

What direction is Destructoid's future heading to? More original videos such as Hey Ash Whatcha Playing? More podcasts? What type of content do you want to feature more of?

@Randombullseye - Long term: More video, more event coverage, more community stuff! We're planning a major software upgrade as well -- probably a 2009 thing. Short term: more fun :)

What you just done represents my favorite feature of Destructoid. Same goes for all the staff members as well. Just a staff member, especially a robot-in-chief, answering a question in a comment or even commenting on my posts, that stuff means the world of difference.

Makes me feel like I'm not just some faceless monster in an overly crowded series of tubes.
