Paul McCartney says that he is working on music for a videogame, and it's not Beatles Rock Band. It would be hilarious to hear the famed artist's take on a fighting game score. Or a JRPG.
In an interview with Die Zeit, McCartney was asked if he would ever write music for a videogame. He responded by saying that he already is. He also said that he finds the idea exciting, and the games market fascinating. The Beatles star admitted that games sell more than CDs these days.
McCartney says that through games, younger people will be hearing his music for the first time.
