Square-Enix's little shindig in Shinjuku has brought home news that two portable games, Final Fantasy Agito XIII and Parasite Eve spin-off The 3rd Birthday are going to hit the PSP. The pair of titles had previously only been announced as mobile phone games, which is why none of you have cared about them previously.
Now, ever so slightly less of you can be apathetic about the games when they come to the PlayStation Portable. Agito XIII is part of Square Enix's Crystal Novellis Novella XIII Pretentiousness XIII Fantasia Crystal Crystal Crystal series, which includes Final Fantasy XIII and FFXII Versus. The 3rd Birthday stars Parasite Eve protagonist Aya Brea but is said to play differently from prior entries in the series.
No dates have thus far been given, but Squeenix is looking to release the games some time in 2009.
