Welcome to another installment of Destructoid On Assignment: the extravagant lives of videogame blogging where you, our supportive readers, wish to swiftly murder us for doing cool things nobody should be gainfully employed to do. There's a reason why it says "Living The Dream" at the bottom of our web site, ladies!
This week Hamza and I have traveled across the world to Stockholm to check out new offerings from Paradox Interactive, hang out in Sweden's most haunted castle, and party and drink with the people that make the games. Despite founding Destructoid my title for this week is Hamza's Camera Bitch, as I take great pleasure in documenting our meetings with the developers and other international press joining us. Naturally, all Paradox games will receive 11/10 review scores going forward or inviting us was a terrible travesty.
So far we've seen a handful of titles and will be bringing you previews and videos all this week. Until then, here's a gallery of photos from last night's welcoming reception at this 11th century spooky castle-turned-conference-hotel. I went on a ghost tour last night through their dungeons and corridors with an open mind and photographic equipment, but the scariest thing I captured was a certain hairy-armed games journalist in a cape guzzling 18-year old Scotch.
