Paradise Lost shows off plant-based 2D stealth action

Oct 28 // Darren Nakamura    @Dexter345

'I chlorophyll asleep'

Stealth action just seems to work better in 2D than in 3D. Games like Gunpoint, Mark of the Ninja, and Stealth Bastard are testaments to that. Perhaps Paradise Lost: First Contact will be another title to add to that list in the future. What may set it apart from the others is the game's protagonist: an intelligent photosynthetic extraterrestrial organism (or an alien plant, if you prefer). Also, that pixel art is pretty top-notch.

Paradise Lost is currently on Steam Greenlight, with plans to release on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Developer Asthree Works has plans to announce a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in the next few weeks.
