We've talked about Microsoft's Games on Demand initiative for Xbox 360 time and time again, but hey, we aren't the only ones. Analyst Michael Pachter also has a few things to say about the digital distribution service as well.
"I think that the point of pricing at or above catalog prices at retail is to capture the convenience customer, who wants the game and doesn’t plan to make a special trip to the store to buy it." So, late night impulse buys? I may have done one or two of those in my time.
"Microsoft is going to experiment with pricing until it gets it right. It’s harder to start low and raise price than it is to start high and cut price," says Pachter. "My guess is that as they build a library, Games On Demand will have a variety of pricing from $10–30." That certainly sounds like a smart idea, but the "smart" idea isn't always the one that gets chosen, unfortunately.
If it were up to me, I'd suggest Microsoft take a good hard look at the way Valve handles pricing and promotions on its ridiculously successful Steam service. If the videogame is cheap enough, we will buy it, even if we don't necessarily need it.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I thought Destructoid was a gaming NEWS blog, not a gaming industry analysis blog.
Per boring, stupid, blaringly obvious bit of shit "news" that Pachter tells us?
BlueBerry Garden is THAT horrible. I couldn't even get the pretentious message from the game, because the game does FUCKING NOTHING to keep me playing and FUCK NEAR EVERYTHING to make me want to go back to TF2.
I swear to god, Indie devs make me want to drop bombs.....

And the winner is . . .
Hawtpawkit, if you are coming to PAX this year, please ask me in person how much he paid me to suck his dick. I will go into explicit detail for you.
wouldn't having a "real job" ensure that you could go to pax? Unless of course, this "real job" doesn't pay all that well. To assume further, it can be surmised that while it's a "real job" it somehow affords you enough spare time to troll a videogame blog. Of course, even if you had a "real job" that somehow left you with free time, something like a significant other or a family would use up quite a bit of that time as well. It can also be assumed that even with a "real job" that afforded you spare time and no significant other or children to be dependent on you, your spare time would be taken up by various chores and responsibilities around your living space. Going even further, it can be surmised that even after all that, if you somehow still had free time, you would most likely be spending it within your social circle or perhaps playing video games, either alone or with your social circle online.
So, by looking at your claims of having a "real job" preventing you from going to Pax and examining the location of where you decided to place these comments the following can be surmised.
You are a person with a poor paying job with little real responsibility or no job at all, no significant other of any seriousness, no friends who want to spend any time with you, most likely no living space of your own or one that is in serious disrepair. Which means you do nothing but troll and maybe play the occasional video game. Poorly.
Ok, I'll admit, that last bit I made up.
And to answer your first question, he paid nothing. The dick sucking was a payment in its own. So HA!
For example Mass Effect should be no more than 15 considering you can get the game at walmart with a second disc as well as a case and physical manual for 19.99.
You should never have to pay the same price as a physical copy of the game.
Considering you'll always be getting less (In terms of the physical items such as the disc, case, and manual.)
"Our rules for banning are pretty straightforward: spamming, trolling, racism, posting NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated."
What I got was so much better.
Also, this kind of makes sense, set the pricing to a high amount and adjust it based on demand. As you can see from the sales figures, people will buy just about anything these days. Especially if it's in deceptive MS-moonmoney.
