The age-old debate of who would win out in a fight to the death between Mario and Pac-Man has finally been settled ... by a minute-long animated short out of Russia. Yes, that’s right, folks: now, whenever your friends claim that Mario or Pac-Man would destroy the other in mortal kombat combat, you can show this to them to prove that they’re both wrong.
And to think ... this epic conflict began because neither Mario nor Pac-Man learned how to share in preschool. You know what happens when you can’t compromise, kids? People die, that’s what happens. So listen to your parents and teachers. Oh, and if that’s not enticing enough to get you to watch, know this: Mario gets naked!
I’m tempted to also think of this as a commentary on the futility of war, but maybe that’s reading into it a bit too much.
