Preview: Quelling the forces of darkness with Orgarhythm
Last week, Jonathan Holmes talked about a new advertisement for Orgarhythm, a combination rhythm and real-time strategy game he likened to a cross between Pikmin and Space Channel 5. I’m inclined to throw a Patapon comparison in there, too, but the former is fitting, given that Orgarhythm is being co-developed by Neilo. The newly founded Neilo is headed by Takashi Hirai, known for his work on Rez and Space Channel 5.

Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I wanted to like Patapon. I really did. But to me, it felt to strict: It felt more like there was a very specific order and method you had to do things in or you would die, which is hardly fitting of a strategy game, and the rhythmn play felt stuck in strategy that wasn't there.

12:00 PM on 05.18.2013 Preview: The Last of UsI was skeptical of The Last of Us. Despite all the hype and high promises, to me, it looked like post-apocalyptic Uncharted. I wasn't sold on the dynamic nature of how the game progressed, and as we all know, zombies have been literally done to death in the past five years. Then, I got a chance to actually play it. How many days until June 14th again?
