Sorry, but this is an extremely poorly written review. In addition to just being all over the place in general, it's pretty light on details and utterly contradicts itself.
First:

This game was basically a guaranteed purchase for me on the day they announced it. I don't really even need any more details.

I'm sorry to say I thought this preview was in a very abrupt style. It feels like it was done in a rush, but keep trying anyway! Game looks fuucking awesome, though.
On a personal note, the zombie theme is particularly relevant to me today. I had a full on multi-act zombie apocalypse nightmare last night. I woke up in the middle of it and it took me 20 minutes before I made the concious decision that I was ready to 'go back in'. Sure enough, it picked right up where it left off.

For clarity: Hack n slash games are a genre. Zombie hack n slash games are a subgenre. This game breaks the mold of typical zombie hack n slash games. That doesn't mean it's not a hack n slash game.

While this game looks pretty offbeat and stellar, I don't like that it's another zombie game. I'm getting fucking sick of zombies.
