To clarify, it's not Juliet's decapitated head - it's her boyfriend Nick's, though it may as well be hers. If you can tie your lover's head to a chain and swing him around in circles repeatedly pummeling any and all zombies in your path, then it's probably safe to make that assumption.
In fact, I did just that during my first ever hands-on session withLollipop Chainsaw this week, and I left feeling relieved (and mildly turned on, but that's another matter). The combat feels good without being overly repetitive, and the wide array of combo moves and colorful humor serve to add a decent amount of variety. Also, upskirts.
Juliet just wants great head which Nick ably provides(by serving as said head). She's pretty much like most M-rated videogame protagonists that way. She's also like Bayonetta with the lollipop fixation, the copy cat.
I'm getting a bit of a Maximo vibe from this game only this game's panty shots aren't the result of battle damage the way that they were in that PS2 classic.
not really. I'd say that price speaks more to it's mainstream appeal than to its quality (as good as suda's games are, they are never multimillion sellers)
Also, preorder discounts are pretty common on Amazon. Usually it's a ten dollar gift card regardless of game quality.
This game looks stupid enough to make me want it. Playing something completely different from everything else releasing these days should be quite satisfying, even if it's a bit pervy. I'm okay with a little perv.
I hate how Suda games always show off 90% of the bosses in previews/trailers. I like to be surprised by that stuff rather than going "oh hey its that guy saying that thing I laughed at 2 months ago and am now totally taken out of the moment" ya know?
Looks like it is more flash then substance. This game looks plastic and poorly animated, but it is a Suda game SO bad design is turned around as if it is a positive.
To me my impressions of this have always been that it's Dead Rising with maximum cheerleader sexytimes (for a mainstream videogame) - and this seems to confirm it for me. But i want to know, does it really play like Dead Rising too? I mean, combat-wise... i don't think this game has any crafting aspects or time-limited open world stuff.
While sales of Suda51's games aren't always where publishers would like them to be, if there's one thing to be said, it's that those who do play the designer's titles sure are passionate about them. Speaking to GamesIndustry ...
