If you've ever had a fantasies about biting off a bat's head or mumbling so unintelligibly so that everyone thinks you've been drunk for over twenty years straight, then this bit of news is going to be right up your alley. Activision announced today that Ozzy Osbourne will be a playable character in Guitar Hero World Tour. In addition, OZZfest will be an available venue in the game.
Since they're bringing Ozzy into the game, it only makes sense that they add a couple of his songs to the track list. The much-requested "Crazy Train" has been confirmed, along with "Mr. Crowley," both from the legendary album Blizzard of Ozz. New tracks have also been confirmed for OZZfest regulars Zakk Wylde, Metallica and System of a Down.
Not enough? No problem, there's more. Activision dropped info on another seven tracks, too. At the Drive-In, Bob Seger and Silversun Pickups are among the offerings. Best of all, now I might have an excuse for all those times I've wandered around the house singing "Eye of the Tiger." It was practice, honest!
Venture past the jump for a complete rundown of the new tracks announced today, as well as a list of previously confirmed songs. And, in our gallery, we have shiny new box art (PS3/360/PS2) awaiting your discerning appraisal.

ozzy... meh, no worse than slash in my opinion
y can't harmonix just join back up with activision and combine all the signing deals... i don't wanna have to get two games..
Being a huge Black Sabbath/Ozzy Fan I'm now abord the Guitar Hero: World Tour Crazy Train.
Hopefully, blink-182's "Stockholm Syndrome" and The Classic Crime's "The Fight" either make it on there or become DLC.
I do that already.
Despite not being enthralled by rockband 2's list, its still winning for me. Chop Suey is by far the best System of a Down song, it also has Eye of the tiger, and it has a much, much better (or at least, less bad) Linkin Park song. One step closer might actually be fun to perform.
Of course, this is like a quarter of the total list, so who knows what theyll end up with. And anyway, if they manage to get it here (nz) before rockband 2, theyll get a purchase from me. I wouldnt be surprised...
That box art sucks, but I'll still probably end up buying the disc.
How about The Rabbit Joint in Guitar Hero instead? :-)

There, I fixed that for you Reeper. I know this song is on GH III DLC, but it would be so much better being able to play the drums for that song. Basically what I'm saying is MOAR MUSE!
And more Metallica. Battery is certainly great (and it will definitely break my hands on the drums), but I want more! Five songs is not enough. I need more!
Still not buying this game though. It's fucking ugly.
