Overlord: Raising Hell sizzles and squeals for PS3 arrival

7:43 AM on 06.12.2008, Jim Sterling 13 comments

     PS3

The Raising Hell expansion pack for last year's fabulous Overlord hit the Xbox 360 a while ago, but PS3 owning fans of the game will be pleased to know that the new content is heading their way, with some exclusive PS3 bonuses thrown in.

The above is the "Sizzle and Squeal" trailer for the PS3 version of Raising Hell, due on June 24, and reminds me that I've had the expansion sitting on my hard drive for ages. I really need to finish that off, because I'm a big fan of the original game.

If you're still yet to play Overlord, by the way, I strongly recommend you do so at some point. It's worth a go, says I.

Not really, there are two different types of play through, bad-good and bad-bad.

ParaParaKing:

Quasi-true. The game sets you up to be more "ruthless" than "evil," and the main enemies in the game are fallen heroes that have practically become more evil than you are. It's a little disappointing, but I wouldn't say that negatively impact what the game actually does, which is provide a very fun (and funny) experience.

I played it on PC and loved the game - awesome setting- sort of half RPG and half RTS gameplay- I just got a ps3 and am looking forward to getting this on it with the expanded content

one of the most underrated games in the 360's library, PS3 owners take notice.

Depending on the new content, I may just pick this up myself. There are still a few minor glitches I hope they fix (mostly clipping minions).

Wow man I love Overlord on the 360, I don't get that so little players own the game, I mean, it rocks like crazy! Really a must-have for anyone that likes some comedy in their RPG's :-)
