Overlord was one of the coolest games of last year, and the sequel is a matter of months away. To celebrate, here's a fresh new trailer and some screenshots, focusing this time on the most important aspect of the game -- the Minions.

The maniacal vandals are just as adorably vicious as ever, and as you can see from the trailer, they have access to new armor and weapons, including a catapult. They'll also be able to ride mounts this time around, and the video shows the giggling psychopaths helping themselves to a pack of caged wolves.

Overlord II is looking like more of the same, which isn't a bad thing as I loved the original. The renewed focus on making this second Overlord much more evil than this father is also welcome, and hopefully points to an even better title when it launches on June 26. We'll naturally have a full review as soon as we get a copy, so stay tuned for that.

I loved the Overlord demo , but I have the feeling that the game is short ... We'll it's 20 bucks now , maybe next time I'll buy it along with Oblivion GOTY ...

Never got around to play the first Overlord although I wanted to. This one looks a lot like the first with some new add-ons so will most likely pick this one up.

Yes, but are you acutally being evil in the game? In the first one, you just seem to act like a major dick than truly act evil. Athough the surprise ending really got to me.

The first one was interesting, but I felt that the game kept pigeonholing me.The linear story and rigid character/ability growth made it feel quite artificial.
