     DO WANT

It seems that Tenchu Z isn't the only game to push out a demo onto Xbox Live without much fanfare. Twisted "Dungeon Keeper meets Pikmin" pillage-a-thon, Overlord , which I've made no secret about being excited for, has a demo on offer at XBL's Marketplace right now. I'm downloading as I type and honestly, you should be as well.

Will it be too much like Fable, as one or two of you have feared? Will the Teen rating affect the title in any real negative way? Will any of that matter once you've got a horde of chattering, evil minions ready to do your infernal bidding? My money's on the latter, but if you want to find out for yourselves, get downloading immediately and let us know your thoughts in delicious comment form. Do as Sterling commands, minions!

[Many thanks to Hyperspank for letting us know it was there]

There's none more glad than me, dude. I'm more stoked for this game than Bioshock and The Halo's (although I'm not hugely into Halo's). This is definitely the game I'm looking forward to the most. Just needs to stop being such a slow-ass demo download.

He's awake to hang with the cool kids from England.

Of which there are about four. Four cool kids in all of this sceptered isle.

Yeah this game is going to fantastic, watching as my minions ride sheep whilst beating them and wearing pumpkins on their heads is entertaining...or maybe that's just sleep deprivation getting to me...

This game is the culmination of all my dreams. In the KOTORs, I always went dark side. In Fable I looked more like hte devil than the devil. If there is a game that allows me to be evil I will give it a go.

From what I've read, this game completely embraces the evil. Now, I am not an evil man, myself, I am simply drawn to play the part I would never truly play in my life, that of the villain. I'm watching Chronicles of Riddick now praying to the Gods of evil movie making that the sequel involves Riddick running the Necromongers and taking over the universe. Cuz in the game, that's what I'd do >:)

I think it was Overlord's plan to release the demo the same day as Tenchu so no matter what, it would look good lol Now THAT'S sinister...

The real evil part is that it's stuck on 34% :/

Just played through the demo. Very much like Pikmin indeed, especially with the whole "summon enough minions to complete this task" deal, but with more action to it and a lot of humour. Kicking a minion in the face made me laugh.

This looks like it could be a bucketload of enjoyment.

"Too much like Fable" wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

Just ran through the demo. It's like an Evil Pikman, and that is a huge endorsement. Watching the little end trailer looks like there's a zillion more things to do. So this is on my list for sure.

Every time I read an article about this game, it was always, 'oh, that sounds cool, maybe I'll check it out', before it ultimately would slip out of mind and be replaced by something more high profile.

I loved the demo, and the definite 'Fable 2-ish' vibe I got from it. Ironically, I suspect this with be more like Fable that the actual Fable 2, but I digress.

I like games -good games- that fly under the radar and pounce on you like a cougar pouncing on something unsuspecting. Cuts away all that hype, all that anticipation (and subsequent letdown), all that anxiety over release dates and delays, frustration over trickles of news. Instead the game just sort of... falls onto your lap.

Like a cougar.

Minion Sweep FTW.

Does anyone know if any other type of minion is unlockable in the demo? I saw the seperate "hives" or whatever, but I didn't really scour the demo to "find the lost tribes" like the really old demon told me to.
