As a loyal Sega kid I still have a place in my heart for NiGHTS. The Sega Saturn game had such an impact on me. And the music! I still love the music. I play the game's vocal song, "Dreams, Dreams," on the piano almost every day.
If you're like me and really dig the music of NiGHTS, you should definitely check out OverClocked Remix and their newest remix project, NiGHTS: Lucid Dreaming. This, OC Remix's 26th arrangement album, was created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the game. OverClocked ReMixer Stevo Bortz, a.k.a. Level 99, gathered 32 musicians to create the 25 tracks (and two bonus karaoke pieces) of this project.
Visit lucid.ocremix.org to hear the love that Bortz and his team put into the collection. There's some very good stuff in here. Oh, and it's absolutely free. As a bonus, be sure to check out the fan-created artwork that is supposed to accompany each song. What a great idea!
As a fellow OC Remixer I wish I could have contributed to this project. But I'm sure they didn't need a cheesy pop cover of "Dreams, Dreams" anyway.

Meet the rest of the team
I remember playing through NiGHTS, but maybe I was playing it wrong -- I still have no idea why people loved it so much, and it seemed to be short as anything. Great music, though, so I'll have to check this out.
Stevo here, the guy that directed the project. Dale, thanks for the coverage. Much appreciated! Even if you weren't able to get the cheesy pop version of Dreams Dreams on the album (and I would have loved to have had it :D ), I'd still be interested in hearing you do one at some point.
And I hope everyone is enjoying the album itself. Yuji Naka and Takashi Iizuka, two of the people responsible for the original NiGHTS, already have this album in their possession. Iizuka has already requested additional copies!
