Apparently, the Asian press laughs in the face of non-disclosure agreements! Gaming Web site Underone has posted over 100 off-screen images of Fallout 3, snapped during a recent ZeniMax Media press tour. We win -- even these relatively low-quality snaps show off what's looking like an unbelievable game.
But not everyone is as excited as we are. One English-speaking commenter at Underone had this to say:
Looks like s**t. The dialogue is awful. Written by high-school kids at best. It also shows up that the dialogue “choices” are going to be crap or simply lead to the same reply anyway (therefore the player doesn’t even *have* a real choice and is just watching a slideshow/movie play out while clicking).
The game will be a stinker.
Well, that seals the deal -- go cancel your pre-orders. And hey, Bethesda: I live about 45-minutes from your studio and I will honor an NDA. I'm just saying.

Unfortunately, his comment about dialogue choices could apply to pretty much any RPG that has dialogue trees. I just played through Mass Effect for the first time on PC (yay Xbox exclusives) and it suffers the same thing pretty much, the dialogue always leads to basically the same outcome, just gives you points in Paragon or Renegade depending on what you picked.
Good job on the whole "Net Journalism" thing there buddy. You as the Editor-in-Chief have really moved the whole gaming community forward. Almost as "if" you want this game to fail..

wow...it's called a joke, (read: sarcasm).
Anyway, this game looks freakin amazing, it's like MGS4 gameplay combined with Oblivion or something!
This game is overrated and will in all likelihood be an insult to the name they bought because they were too damn lazy to come up with their own world.
According to many previews the characters are as stiff as Oblivion, with similarly bad AI and the game stops to load pretty regularly when traversing the world. There's been plenty of other criticisms leveled at it but I guess none of that matters because OH WOW YOU CAN DECAPITATE PEOPLE WITH TEDDY BEARS. I mean that'll never get old and makes the game instantly awesome right... right? It doesn't matter that you can pick the lock on a bar to find there's people drinking inside and then fire your weapon into a wall and have nobody react when you've got ridiculous gibs that look like shit.
Don't get me wrong though, I can't wait to run through miles of land with nothing of interest worth doing and hundreds of dungeons that look just like the previous one.

Dtoid wasn't at this event, wasn't shown the screens, and did not sign or otherwise agree to an NDA. Nick is just reporting on what he found on the Internet -- he was not a party to any contract. If Bethesda/ZeniMax asks him to take down the screenshots, that's his call. But, he sure doesn't seem to be liable.
Of course, I don't know the whole situation, I'm not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice. Also, cocks.

Tbh of what iv seen the similar style oblivion annimations have annoyed me. Dont get me wrong even simply choices are fine and i bloody loved oblivion and since downloading fallout 3 have played it to death.
Im just worried that it will seem to alike and the bit inbetween the "random" locations and the major towns will be meh. Which was the best part of Oblivion it random places and to do everything how long it took.
Ah well i need some really good games this christmas otherwise ill go mental with mediocrity. Wish that bloody CE had a pipboy in england too...
