I feel legitimately bad that I haven't touched Riot Games' League of Legends more or less since its first week out of the gate. Maybe, just maybe, the studio can pull me back in with its impending shift in art style.
PC Gamer has some before-and-after comparisons of the current and upcoming styles. I'm a fan of the new look -- the characters still have toon-like qualities to them, but the level of detail and shading has been bumped up. Also, they removed the purple liquid from the barrel. Huh?
That's almost as weird as Nintendo's NES-era censorship policies. Almost.
League of Legends’ incredible new art style! [PC Gamer]
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

@Naim - Generic WoW character? New Mord looks METAL!
This is kind of ridiculous, in a good way. I can't believe it's happening, really XD NEW GRAPHICS!!!
That said, new Mord looks awesome, and Graggas seems underplayed compared to anything else, so I don't really care about that. I'm more interested in the changes coming to my favs, ie, Rammus :D

I'm really exited for these new changes, especially the terrain looks beautiful.
I think the change to morde is nice, but I don't like the "adding texture to everything" which you can more easily see in the change to Gragas.
Also, anyone not playing this game should. It's free and a blast to play.
They also mentioned a new ginormous 5-man map being revealed soon.
