Not sure why they felt the need to add this, though. They could've just made the arena mode co-op...but then again, the difficulty level of Arena Mode has probably turned off the throngs of button mashers who only pressed the X and Triangle buttons throughout the course of the game.
I'd rather have a GoW game for the Vita before another console game is out, but whatevs.
That's silly of course I do. But why would I reference other gaming site articles when I am commenting about this one?
Sorry for hurting your feelings, big guy.
I understand what you are saying but I didn't see anybody talk about other gaming sites. When I see comments that are relevant to the article I'm reading in the comment section of the article I'm reading , I assume they are referring too the article I'm reading, unless stated otherwise. All I'm saying is people who complain about complainers are pretty much the definition of hypocrites . And now I'm complaining about the complainers who complain about complainers. so I have to get out of here .
I'll wait to play the game before I pass judgement, but I really don't like how they've been handling this once great series.
Awesome -_-
Multiplayer isn't going to make me want this game, too me it's a detraction. I reckon a God of War game taking from Norse Mythology would be awesome.
Sorry. I've been trying to get Platinum on Red Dead Redemption for the past week before MP3 comes out. So any game as an open world sandbox sounds justifiable at this point.
*ignores Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 2, Bad Company 2*
1)Kratos struggles to cut through the politics of a post-9/11 world.
2) Trouble in a Greek yogurt factory.
3) Instead of Greek Myths its a six hour interactive video of Paula Deen breast feeding a baby chimpanzee.
4) Billy Joel karaoke action fighter.
5) Its God of War meets every scene in Hunger Games featuring Lenny Kravitz meets the last 10 minutes of Titanic with a dash of Adam Sandler making fart sounds in the background.
6) Kratos fights a bunch of boobs with teeth as the camera slowly pulls back to reveal the all the games really were just a dream Rachel Ray had after she passed out on the toilet from really bad taco shits.
7) Players team up to race chariots for a Susan G. Komen race for the cure.
8) Its just Cobra Triangle.
But eh. I guess this is a thing, too.
4vs4 sorta makes sense... but I think that a Co-op mission, or maybe a 'team' battle of 8 vs the PC in a systematic battle... sorta like a GoW version of BF3's domination, where each 'capture point' is actually a cinimatci battle, like 1st is a chimera, 2nd is a leviathan, and 3rd is a god? buh... that'd have been interesting...
*will wait to know more*
Any further development of God of War: Ascension's multiplayer will prove more fascinating than any more single player news since the single player portion will be nearly identical to the other five games in the series while the multiplayer, even if it fails horribly, will at the very least provide new things to complain about.
Maybe they'll reveal that there will be an option to select character gender and that'll lead to a litany of grumblings and grievances related to historical inaccuracies... in a game series that doesn't even hew too closely to its mythological source material most of the time(starting with the presence of the series' protagonist let alone his more deicidal actions). That will no doubt be as entertaining as the Sony Santa Monica's finished product.
The more you know.
"i dont like this" -complaining
"i like this" -opinion
Welcome to a conversation guys, where there will be opinions from different sides of the fence.
Complaining is more like if someone is suffering from something "he keeps complaining about his headache" or if someone is at an event they dont want to be at "he was complaining about having to sit in church".
HOWEVER I'm not writing the game off so long as they don't half ass the single player, it's just a shame that yet another game has unnecessary mutiplayer that I will more than likely ignore
