If they really believed in their project, allowing for swapping between original and enhanced on the fly would allow the consumer to appreciate their work as well as indulge in nostalgic gameplay.
Most people hate it because it's different, and because a lot of gamers like being outraged. If you switched the voices around, with the new voices being the original, then the outcry would be the same. Honestly, I LOVED SH2, it's one of my most memorable gaming experiences, but after having not played it for ten years, I can't imagine that new voice work would have the slightest impact.
Anyhoo, yay. SH2 is the reason why most people will buy this anyway.
will use the old voices though.
still kind of disappointed they didn't included 4 or origins...
Then he unveiled Book of Memories, the cunt
Whether they were just too lazy to do that or not is debatable, but good ol' Guy is imploring people to try and track her down. There could still be a slim chance that 3's old voice acting makes the cut.
Then again, I'm going to be playing with new voices anyway
*trollface*
Instrumental voice cast is instrumental -Exactly like we've all been saying all along :)
As hypocritical as it sounds, I'm fine with SH3 having different voices though (which is news to me?).. I can't remember all that much of that games dialogue any way. Great game, but aside from a few scenes its a blur to me. SH2 however is burned into my mind, I love it so much.
I was getting the game either way, its nice to hear Konami was willing to listen to us. I'd like to see The Room be in this too, but I'll be fine where we are. I just kinda hope Konami doesn't try to pass off 2 games for $50.. I might be willing to pay $20-$25 for SH2 alone, but no so much for 3, no matter how good it was. $30 to -maybe- $40 would be the sweet spot for me.
