One of the best worst videogame movies ever made is getting released on Blu-ray. Street Fighter: Extreme Edition is getting an extreme makeover, including some fancy widescreen 1080p support. The Blu-ray will also include:

Street Fighter IV Game Trailer
Street Fighter IV Game Teaser Trailer
Street Fighter IV Anime Trailer
The Making of Street Fighter
Outtakes
Deleted Scenes
Storybord Sequences
Video Game Sequences
Cyberwalk

Feature Commentary with Director Steven de Souza

Street Fighter: Extreme Edition will be out on February 10, near the Street Fighter IV release date. This is great news to me, as I've been searching high and low for a DVD copy that's not ridiculously priced.

Also, the new Street Fighter movie starring Kristin Kreuk won't be able to stand on its feet unless it gets an epic music video starring MC Hammer and Deion Sanders. Seriously, you haven't lived until you watched the above video.

[RANDOM FUN FACT: MC Hammer used to live in my city and would often visit a local video rental store that my friend worked at. Unsurprisingly, he has a huge late fee bill with them.]

Now THAT'S a niche market!

Incidentally, as a 90s kid, I am ashamed to admit I moderately enjoyed the video... who could beat MC Hammer (apart from the IRS) back in the day?

As sad as it was one of Raul Julia's last film, he did have some amazing lines in it!

According to that video, there aint no party like a street fighter party.....apparently.

It just keeps coming back to the new media argument. Do i want to buy movies on Blu-ray? No
Did I say that about DVDs back in the day? Yeah.
Well I guess i'll have to eventually.

van damme's new movie looks awesome. JCVD the movie. Look for it on the tubes. It looks so surreal. He plays himself as an actor struggling for work. Bank robberies and hilarity ensues.
