... I bet some people will still say that."[/i]
Ah, you learn quickly, young Padawan
The guys behind Torchlight 2 have some goddamn explaining to do! All I heard from them is how much size restrictions kept them from putting it on XBLA. I seriously doubt Torchlight 2 is bigger than Crysis!
Of course if you were playing crysis for the graphics then you were playing it for the wrong reason.
I dont wanna be that guy, but to me it feels like the graphics was the only thing crysis 1 had going for it haha :D
Why would Runic games have to explain anything? How is it their fault that Microsoft allows EA to publish a 10GB game on XBLA but restricts smaller developers' game sizes?
Is Microsoft really just letting EA get away with something it won't every other developer get away with? Would someone please explain this to my feeble brain?
as for the game itself, i picked up retail pc version of Crysis Maximum Edition for 10$ few months ago so i don't care about console release.
How about that Jim? //Sarcasm//
Although Crysis 2 never interested me,for some reason this one does.
If the PSN price is right I'll definitely get this.
What about them secretly preparing Timesplitters 4 for a release in the near future? We can only hope I guess but its the first thing i was thinking about...

Crytek says It's the single player campaign only. I'll probably still buy it though.
How do we know those shots are even of the console version? It looks like someone just stood in the same spot and turn the settings from High to Low on the PC version.
Considering the direction that Crytek went with Crysis 2, this move honestly doesn't surprise me.
I agree with all of this except the last comment. I don't really see how PC gamers are any more likely to get angry than console gamers. I mean.. look at Jim's ranting about.. everything else (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo). It's just that PC gamers are strawmen that everyone on Dtoid can agree to make fun of. I mean, geez, has ANY PC gamer reacted negatively to this news? This despite several comments entirely devoted to the supposed "PC gamer reaction"?
I've been waiting
so long
Never had the money for a high-end PC, and the original Crysis captivated me so bad, it had my psyche tossing and turning, but I loved the idea of roaming through jungles, the city wasn't quite my bag. I had totally given up hope for a port of some sort when #2 was announced. As for it being only single player- I don't care, don't play multiplayer much anyway, I have enough vices and time-wasting devices as it is, so yeah.
Whoa. Whoa.
@Taco28 - yes.
But on another note, Jim are you sure this is psn/xbla, I knew about this since yesterday night and I don't remember hearing anything about this, and if anything I could only assume capitalism will take place and charge 60 dollars for this game at half the graphics and 4 years later.
It's $19.99/1600 points, I linked the press release earlier
@MrBoBo1 @killias2 Re: "nerd baiting"
Gamers of all kinds get bent out of shape over the dumbest shit due to attaching their egos to electronic entertainment devices, so if anyone can convert that wasted energy and nonsense into page views and ad revenue, more power to them.
