Origin adding built-in Twitch streaming via next update
Remember when I told you about my childhood dream of people being able to watch me play videogames just by clicking on my name when Twitch integration was added to PlanetSide 2 the other day? Well, it looks like we're even closer to that dream now, as Origin is adding Twitch streaming within their in-game overlay via the next update (which is being pushed in the next few days). Origin has also created the ability for you to add any non-Origin game you have on your PC to your library (similar to Steam). This means you can now stream any game you want without having to buy expensive streaming software. You won't be able to add production values besides showing your game and talking over it, but hey, you're streaming and playing your game within the same place. What else do you need? Head over to the Origin blog for full instructions on how to get the streaming technology to work. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
