Orange Box soundtrack is an ideal gift if Companion Cubes are sold out photo

You don't have the $100 bucks to shell out for a plush Companion Cube, despite the lovely donation to Child's Play involved? Fear not, many are in the same boat. If you're seeking a more tasteful gift for the Orange Box obsessee in your life, the Orange Box soundtrack CD may make a better score at $9.95. It's on Steam too, so you can gift it, saving the trouble of wrapping AND dealing with people face-to-face on Christmas Eve.

While you're at it, you can snag yourself a copy and listen to "Still Alive" on repeat while you wrap other gifts. This also follows my own personal Christmas gifting rule, which is "one gift for another person, one gift for me."

Hrm, I don't seem to see the Companion Cube anywhere on that CD design. FAIL.

We all do know that these tracks are packed with the game and are easily extractable, right? Except for this "Hidden Track", I fail to see why Gabe Newell needs to have any more of my money.

Valve has such awesome stuff to buy... I still haven't decided if I want to order the Head Crap hat or not...

Also, speaking of Steam, ALL of the games on Steam are discounted for the next few days

I should give this to someone who has no idea about the game and just have them be confused about "Still Alive."

I already have the soundtracks to three Half-Life games. However, I'd totally still buy this just for that one piece of music from inside the hospital in HL2: Episode... uh, I forget which one.

Heee, I always got the chills whenever the music in HL2 ever did kick in.

So this is pretty much gonna be my automatic chills device.

I love the chills.

Or you know I could give you the soundtrack ripped from the game for free?
