Optional Resistance 2 covers are available, devour at will photo

When the hilarious Okami cover art blunder was discovered, Capcom issued replacement coverslips to those who felt that it was an error so egregious that they deserved new digs. Generally speaking, publishers and developers typically don’t offer optional covers, but that’s exactly what Insomniac is doing over at the official PlayStation blog -- and no, it isn't because there's an IGN watermark in the original stuff.

To get one (or all three three), head on over to Sony’s blog, click on the image of your choice and pick “Original” size. It may not be as cool as pimping your car, however after printing and applying you can now lie to your friends that aren’t in the “know” and say you got some sort of special, enhanced game.

As much as I love the R2 box art that was in the Limited Edition packaging, I'm not gonna print it off. I'm happy with my box art, also my printer doesn't print colour.

This is actually perfect for me.

I attempted to buy resistance 1 a few weeks ago from a local gamestop only to come home, load up the disc without looking at it, and be told "Resistance 2 is now loading onto your hardrive."

You could imagine how good that felt, seeing as I payed $20 for something going for $55 used.

Now all I gotta do is replace that misleading cover to the box.

@ Mr Wrighty 987

Are you suggesting the game was f*ked!? i really enjoyed it and so did many, many other people. Didn't see too much wrong with it. In fact some bits where probably some of my favorite FPS moments.

also,
I dont know why. But, i think this is pretty cool getting different covers for your games. I might print out cover number one :) nice one insomniac

I printed one out earlier, for some odd reason the printout is smaller than the original cover, so once you replace it you are left with a lot of unnecessary empty space. Plus, I can't cut straight, so there's that problem as well.
