OPM is tossing out some Kratos action for LittleBigPlanet in the UK photo

According to CVG, Media Molecule and the guys at Official PlayStation Magazine in the UK have teamed up to offer a fairly exciting download code to be used with LittleBigPlanet. Included in the packaging of issue 24 will be a code to download a limited-edition Kratos SackBoy, complete with funny face paint, mini-Blades of Chaos (Athena?), and a wicked snarl.

If the Kratos SackBoy looks familiar, then you’re one step from being as excited about LittleBigPlanet as I am. Kratos is also being offered as DLC for pre-ordering the game at GameStop in North America. Reports are indicating that a Nariko model (Heavenly Sword chick) will be made available with a pre-order from Play.com in the UK (in the US, you can get her as a bonus for pre-ordering the game from Best Buy).

Keep in mind that Kratos and Nariko will not be offered as typical DLC in the future. These are promotional things to get our juices flowing and thinking about how brilliant the future product should be. By the way, an official Solid Snake SackBoy would be enough to put me over the edge. What characters do you guys think deserve the SackPerson treatment?

[Via CVG -- thanks, Joe!]

I never pre-order ANY games as I like to play them the soonest I can (I do not trust a pre-order from anywhere to turn up on time).

The only thing that would get me to pre-order this would be if they where going to give me a real life sackboy toy..... also not that Taito fake sh!t destructoid reported on which looks utter crap 3rd party stuff.

Something proper like this.

I wonder if they'd make more money on preorders like this than if they just offered the things as regular DLC.

@Dexter345 - That's certainly an interesting proposition. I would buy a Kratos Sackboy.

@Dexter345 it's free advertising plus it gets the retailers to advertise their own particular bonus item which is more free marketing.

personally I'm going for the burlap game bag from GameCrazy. the Kratos or Nariko SackPeople dont appeal as much to me since ill be making my own custom SackPeople.

List of all pre-order bonuses & where to get them

also
a DTOID SackBoy would be cool
