Thirsty for a little more Spore action? I know I am. Quite possibly the greatest game that has yet to ever be released, Spore gives me a nerdgasm like no other. It's got the perfect blend of RTS and online and such that fills every little void in my gaming heart. Don't you just love it?

Wouldn't it be great if Summa had a nightmare about Spore? Like the only thing you could create were nintendo characters? But only everyone would make Mario. Oh and everything everybody does in the game makes Shiggy money.

Yay, its good to know that you can subjugate lesser species even if they don't stand a chance. Lasers VS projectiles.... hmm I wonder if they do actually shoot you down your spacecraft if they'll then take your specie's bodies, and perform alien autopsies

How much dumbing down are they going to do for the DS version?

I'll buy the game but I'm kinda sick of hearing about it, everyone seems too eager to give Will Wright a handjob.

Someone say handjob?

Ok seriously, they should put this out on the Wii if the DS is getting a port.

I think Spore will rock, but it seems like it'd be extremely time consuming. I don't think it's going to fare too well with the casual market (Wii and DS) but I'd love to be wrong.

This game is never coming out. You all know this to be true.

That's old footage.

It was done when Wright and some other guy were talking about generative thinking and its applications.

It was quite neat, he came to a foreign planet with his ship, went to a city, started some fireworks, and the denizens decided to revere him as a god, and started praying. He tried to take one of them into his ship, but missed, and sent that one flying to the ground, killing him brutally in the process. As soon as the rest of the inhabitants saw it, they opened fire, which is what the video shows.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to wipe out the entire galaxy or open up a zoo of horribly designed creatures on my home planet. Decisions decisions....

Oh this game will come out, then followed by 200 expansions, the first of which being titled "Heres the rest of what I promised"

[size=9]See I'm trying not to buy into the hype but its just so hard not to. So antihype maneuver one: Belittling it even though I'm drooling over it. See I'm the perfect example of any internet goer. I'm a hypocrite.[/small]

Yeah, but will there be a game mechanic for a super pathogen to evolve and kill all life on your planet, forcing you to start over?

And what about xenocide? Can we have that?

Does this game deserve its own genre or is it just an RTS?

@ ghnvt:

It's a sim with elements from several other genres.

I can't wait to see the first Destructoid bot creatures pop up. You know someone's going to do it.

New video doesn't show too much though.
