It feels like we're moving in slow motion here, while Japan is running full steam ahead. A perfect example is Sin and Punishment 2, the epic sequel to Treasure's beloved game, coming soon to the Wii. Japanese gamers are already rubbing their hands together in anticipation while we're here, heads hung low, looking up only to see the teasing bits of media that come our way.

In that media blitz, several videos have come out. Here we have the television commercial as well as two trailers. I don't know if it's that I'm excited for the game or what, but the commercial gives me goosebumps. Maybe it's Japan's ability to take you on a 15-second emotional roller coaster with their commercials.  Either way, who cares -- I want this game.

I love rail shooters, and S&P is one of my favorites. Can't wait for this!

Awesome. This will probably hit Euprope next year and I know I'll be getting it.

I know you can move around the screen this time, all directions with the analog stick, but I don't trust the wiimote for aiming. So I hope you can use the clasic control and use a dual analog setup type of control! Or the GC controller even, I actually learned how to play, and got pretty good, at S&P1 with the GC controller.

Anyways, I'm so excited for this game, cannot wait.

Depends on what you're into. Personally I think we're getting a pretty decent, albeit unpredictable, flow of Eastern games. I'm probably the minority since I play so few.

@grafkhun how can you not trust the wii remote for aiming, you just point at something you want to kill.

I really don't like the artstyle of this compared to the original. I'm wondering if Zombie Panic in Wonderland will be a better fit?

Holmes's comment of "Fuck StarFox" on E3 made me sold.

I love shooters with rapid action like this.

I think Pew was joking, but if not, then yes. His avatar.

This game looks awesome. I never played the first one, so I hope I like this one. And I'm going to love the Wii remote aiming.

why does it seem like japanese trailers always have some guy describing things over the game footage?

So, full priced game. Huh. Girl at E3 (who admittedly seemed to know very little) said this was to be a WiiWare title. Oh well. Will get.

@ GigaMach- Yeah, S&P2 is supposed to be a bout twice the size of the original, and the original wasn't all that short by shmup standards.

This game looks worth $50 to me, and then some. In fact, after watching these vids, I'd say that S&2 to is now my second most anticipated game of 2010.

Sorry Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. I love you too, but you can't compete with Treasure shmuping.

I hate how they change the look of them in the game. They should have kept how he looked in brawl. It just looks to dam creepy that way. Its like get my FF out of my rail shooter.
