Believe it or not, Media Molecule is still supporting LittleBigPlanet. And it’s not just through costumes and other forms of PDLC -- the studio is releasing updates on a frequent basis, ensuring that the stellar game remains as such. For example, take a gander at the latest update set to go live November 30th. Dubbed "Leerdammer," the patch adds online level creation functionality (with up to three others) as well as profile tweaks that should give users more saved space to mess around with. If that wasn't enough, they're tweaking the network stuff in the game to give users better matchmaking results. Rad.

A big list of all the new things that came with update 1.21 is available at the official LBP blog. It has cute text and bubbly visuals to go along with it, if you’re into that kind of thing. If you’re a pictures-in-motion kind of person instead, give the above MM-produced video a good look. It reveals all.

I'm looking forward to water. This stuff... ok cool, but not enough to pull me back in.

Well, aside from reminding me that LBP is pretty awesome in general.

I really like how they are keeping the game updated, but I became sick of the game after I finished making my only published level. I just, don't see myself popping in the disk again after that...

MM is definitively one of the devs that loves their fans the most, along with valve and atlus

been throwing my controller lately over lag in multiplayer (horrible sliding death off ledges and into spikes/fire/poison gas/electrified stuff(squeeeeeeeepop!) is only funny the first 100 times), so am excited to see that's being addressed in this update.

I was over the moon (gotta keep my comment LBP related right?) when Media Molecule announced this on their website. You have no idea how awesome this is. Really. When my PS3 died a though my unfinished LBP levels died with it. But now whenever I can repair my black monolith I can back-up those levels and copy them to my new PS3. Hours and hours of brain exploding effort is saved. Thank you.

I love Media Molecule and it feels like they love me as well.

Win, me and a buddy were talking about making a level together by publishing it editably but this will skip the ball ache and let us just work together.

Sweet.

Just got to drag myself from mag now!
