Still, Capcom took a defib unit on the fighting genre and revitalized it and made it thrive. Capcom can take my money.

2D fighting, maybe. 3D fighters were doing fine with Tekken, Virtua Fighter, and Soul Calibur.
Yeah, but even that genre was kinda struggling. That big 3, along with DOA and the 3D MK and OFgames, kinda dragged along the 3D scene of fighters.
This is like getting Super Saiyan 3 Akuma and Ryu.
It is diseased
Capcom resurrected a corpse and that corpse was 90's style fighting games. Nostalgia fucking sucks and games like Street Fighter (and the jerks that want these games) prevent innovation in their respective genres. The same goes for Starcraft. Noscon trash, the whole lot of it.
Are you kidding? if you think Street Fighter is still doing well because of nostalgia, you are not paying attention. If Capcom was just milking the nostalgia factor, then HD Remix would have been the very last work in the Street Fighter series, since that is still the most well known entry in the series.
I don't know when they'll do it or even how. But here's to hoping that this update comes 3D edition, at least the new characters and rebalancing. At least, if and/or when I decide to get a ps3, then I'm definitely getting this dlc.
He looks a lot more like Gouken (who imo should have had a power of nothingness infused character type similar to Oni Akuma or Evil Ryu.)
The ultimate measure of a game is how much you enjoy playing it, not some arbitrary notion of "innovation."
