Onett in 3D is pretty neato

3:00 AM on 07.05.2010

This video is a year old, which means it's positively ancient. But I hadn't seen it, which led me to believe that there may be others who have not seen it. By that, I mean others who are interested in Earthbound and might appreciate a 3D rendering of the town of Onett.

The video, created by Benn Friedrich, is pretty amazing. It brings the town of Onett alive in a big way and, at the same time, reminds me of the lamentable fact that we'll likely never see anything like this crop up on a Wii. What a shame.

Still, good memories here. Good times. I'm going to go out and beat a hippie to death with a baseball bat now.
