One-of-a-kind Yoshi Wii on eBay photo

Nintendo nerds: You'll go 'green' for this customized Yoshi-themed Nintendo Wii, complete with Yoshi's Eggs on the base.

A new eBay auction features a Wii with a custom paint job by an "industrial engineer with plenty of modeling experience". We don't care about all of that - it has Yoshi on it!

The auction includes the Wii and all of the originally included accessories, Mario Party 8, and Wii Play (with extra Wii Remote). Although the auction has not moved past day one yet, the price is currently at $420, with three days to go.

If you're a freak for long-tongued dinosaurs, then you might want to keep an eye on this eBay auction

Looks cool, but he could have at least spent a little more time touching up the paint. :(

I just want to grab that tongue and swing Yoshi around like a lasso before chucking him out the window. He's the wrong color, and obviously an IMPOSTOR.

Probably a communist, too. And we all know how much I love a commie... when he's good and dead!

Some of the paint on the GC ports hinge seems kinda worn a bit. Methinks this isn't that great of a paint job. Good Yoshi, but I need something sturdier than that if I'm taking a painted console.

That's fantastic, is it just a nice paint job or is it all glossy like the actual Wii's exterior?

I want the next consoles to allow customers to order any customizable hardware like this, but officially so there isn't only one chance of getting one

Pretty sweet, but how come Luigi never gets any love?

Sadly I'd settle for just finding a regular Wii in Houston without having to buy a damn bundle. I finally cave and figure wht the hell I'll give the Wii a shot and every single store selling em solo is out of the thing. Come on Nintendo get some on the shelves here.

It was one-of-a-kind until they posted up very detailed pics of all 4 normally-visible sides. :p

Considering this guy claims to be an "industrial engineer with plenty of modelling experience", I was expecting something more along the lines of an egg shaped base with a kickin' rad paint job. Instead people are paying $450 for a plain green paint job, what looks to be a slapped on sticker, and some poorly painted eggs on a standard base? Take a closer look at the eggs, the green circles are not even smooth and round, and the black lines are rough as hell! It looks like some jittery old grandad painted this up. Not only is this a very very boring mod, not only is it a very poor attempt at a paint job, not ONLY is the guy posing as an "industrial engineer" when it has nothing to do with the Wii at all...but the fact that you could head down to a game shop, buy a pack of yoshi stickers and an actual green case (which third parties have out, some even glow!) and BAM, you just saved yourself $450!

The wrong color? How many fucking colors of yoshi are there? Is there a wrong color or is this one just another variant?
