I have stayed away from Animal Crossing with the knowledge that it will own me if I ever dare try to play it. One day I'll slip and then be declared dead for 40 years before returning with a dead raccoon strapped to my head as a treasure.

I'd love to see a new Animal Crossing that freshens things up a bit. The Wii version was a major disappointment.

Damn, Ashley! This is brilliant! I just started my town on the Wii version three weeks ago and it's sucking me in just as much as the DS version did. I've been playing at least an hour a day. So addictive. I need to start booting people to get Static back in my town, though. That squirrel kicks all kinds of ass.
Animal Crossing is the only game my Wii plays anymore, but alas for the time being it no longer amuses me so I barely play it. My trips to my town Bob usually involve me waking from hibernation and getting my hair cut, knowing full well when I wake from my rip van winkle naps I'll just need another haircut anyway.

I loved this Ashley, it was pretty clever and hilarious at the same time. Its so true, I noticed everytime I turned on the game I ended up doing all that sort of work and when I looked around I was the only one shaking trees and all that junk. Strangely addicting game.. but theres something twisted about it..

If I may interbutt, a title can be vaporware, and eventually still be released. Hell, just look at Alan Wake and Dragon Age, both of them were vaporware for an upwards of 5-6 years.
