To celebrate Sonic the Hedgehog's 20th anniversary, I have undertaken the E.G.G.M.A.N challenge, and it's driven me into a state of almost comfortable insanity. In order to take the challenge, you play the above video, which is the Sonic Adventure 2 song "E.G.G.M.A.N" looped for fifteen minutes.
At first, the music (and your desire to know why someone looped this for fifteen minutes) will overwhelm you, but after about the third loop, you'll start to pick out lyrics. Eventually, you'll realize that he says that all of his machines are built for destruction, but that he then goes on to say that he will build an empire.
Before you hit the fifth playthrough, you will be obsessing over how one builds an empire with an army that can only destroy.
The death of 27% of your brain will follow.

This is what I call "Playing Catch Up." I haven't made a post since October, but still I'm making videos. Since we last covered Pier Solar HD's Kickstarter, developer WaterMelon has reached all five of its stretch goals for the campaign. As such, there will be a Japanese translation, extras for the Dreamcast version of the game, ... 2010's homebrew Sega Genesis RPG Pier Solar was one of those projects that was fun to watch from the sidelines, but I never got to actually play it myself.
