For the record, I've always liked this song in a cheesy way. I don't mean to imply the song is inherently bad, just that after the fifteen minutes was up, I was begging for death.
Okay, so I'm either really bored, or insane but I have beaten this challenge, and it wasn't even that hard.

I could easily listen to the city escape theme for fifteen minutes. It is strangely addicting.

A friend of mine once slept over my house and woke me up the following morning BLASTING this song from the song select menu. I've had friends do horrible things to me before for a laugh, but that was easily the worst.
I'm gonna sleep tonight with this playing in my head, I think it's high time that I reevaluate the video game music I listen to.
@Jim Sterling: Perhaps, but not quite insane enough to not realize that the challenge would have been even easier had E-102 Gamma's theme been the subject of said challenge to the point where it would have felt like a total cheat.

I loved Sonic Adventure 2 and I honestly liked this song because it was so corny. It helps that the guitar is pretty sweet too.
And Jim you OBVIOUSLY just don't understand the brilliance of his plan, he has a IQ of 300 so he knows what he's doing.

I like to imagine this song is what Eggman tells himself everyday when he gets out of bed. He's obviously read the book The Secret. Tell yourself you will conquer the world and the world will be yours!

Also, on a related note, I had just bought this soundtrack (what of it?) and I was waiting for my sister to get out of ballet class. So I'm chilling in the car listening to the SA2 soundtrack, and this guy in the parking spots across from me is dancing with his car door open... So I role down my window to hear what he's dancing to.
It's Footloose. So as I stare in shock and awe the song ends, and I'm about to roll up my window to shake the song loose from my head and forget what I just witnessed... when he leans into the car, RESTARTS THE SONG, and starts dancing again. He continued to do the the ENTIRE TIME I was waiting in the parking lot. I have no recollection of how long it lasted, or how long I watched in sheer terror as I felt my sanity slowly melt and slip through my fingers.
To this day when I hear the E.G.G.M.A.N. Theme, all I see is that man wildly gyrating his hips.
