Okamiden trailer get! Check out Capcom's TGS wares photo

Capcom has opened its Tokyo Game Show Web site and it's full of lovely things, chief among them being the first ever gameplay footage for Okamiden, the DS sequel to Okami that everybody with a soul is excited for. It's not much footage, but it's better than nothing.

As well as Okamiden, Capcom is also showing off Lost Planet 2, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, Ghost Trick and some new Mega Man bullsh*t. All the trailers play swiftly on the site, so make sure you swing by and check them out. You definitely don't want to miss the Okamiden one. That dog is so cute it'll make you puke pink sugar.

It's not clear if Okamiden will be playable at TGS but on the offchance it is, how long do you think the line will be to get a turn on the thing?

That's not a trailer! That's more like a blip of existence.

Wow, that was short. But it looks exactly like Okami, which I hope is a good thing.

Looks like it'll be the same deal as the original, only mini. Day one buy!

I'm so glad they decided to make this for the DS. Looking at video make me think of how great it will be to feel like the brush actually works! The wii controls were ok but if you swiggled your hands a bit then it couldn't reconigse anything. Hopefully battles and minigames will go by smoother this time.

"and some new Mega Man bullsh*t."

UGH. They need to revive the Megaman X series, in 2D. No SF4 treatment, just exactly how it was in X1-6.

I am convinced that Dead Rising 2 doesn't actually exist.

Ack.

As much as I long for another Okami game, my fears seem to be confirmed with that short video.

The animation was pretty choppy and the graphics, while colorful, were pretty damn bad.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though and hope it'll shape up between now and its release.
