It's not the size that counts, it's the cuteness of the puppy, and Okamiden has one adorable little doggy. Is it doggy or doggie? Who cares?
We have a tiny collection of even tinier screenshots for your enjoyment this morning, as well as that twenty-seven seconds of footage culled from Capcom's TGS site, just in case you wanted it isolated for your masturbatory pleasure later today. It's not much, I know, but hey, a small handful of screens and footage is better than no screens and footage, right?
Hopefully TGS will yield far more information, and we can really start getting excited and fuzzy-hearted.

Wow. I really wasn't expecting this to come out considering how Capcom execs were talking about the franchise and their displeasure with Clover/Platinum. Using the DS Stylus could work wonders for the paintbrush controls, and not only that it looks FANTASTIC. It really doesn't look that much worse then the PS2 game.
Because the Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn, and Playstation had terrible 3D games due to their technical limitation, right? There are a ton of 3D games that look great on the DS and there are far more amazing games on the DS than there are even on the main consoles, much less the PSP. Graphical limitations have NEVER put any kind of strain on good gameplay. Try again next time.
Aaaaaaaaaw yEeEEAAAaAAAH!!!
And just in time, my friend gave me his old DS cause he only uses his DSlite!
This month is just getting better and better!!!
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Hopefully Nintendo will put out a nice Okamiden bundle. I can see it happening.
Sure, this game "looks fantastic" if you're looking at a still shot from 10 feet away while under water.
Watch that video again and tell me it isn't choppy as hell.
I think it's trying to push more graphics than the DS can handle.
The ONLY 3D game that looks good on the DS is Dragon Quest and that's not an action game so they can fudge it a bit.
Whether or not the game ends up being fun, I don't think there's any way that it won't be brought down by the technical limitations.
